University Skills Lacking

A survey of 71 university academics report that subject knowledge provided by A-levels is appropriate for commencing degrre study, but concerns raised over academic skills such as research, sourcing info, writing essays, problem solving and critical thinking. The EPQ is ideal to allow development of these skills alongside A-level. Delighted with applications for this year, but would still encourage more, even post initial deadline.

Pure Potential is a well established organisation which seeks to open doors for students without connections or strong family backgrounds to highly competitive universities and careers.
